AUG | Contractor appeared in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive on November 27, 2013. It’s included in The Italy Collection, containing 15 weapon finishes themed after the eponymous map. It was introduced to the shooter in the “Out with the old, in with the new” update.

The gun has a simple design: the grips, edge of the magazine, and the buttstock are covered with pine green paint, while yellow is used on the magazine and the trigger guard. The rest of the firearm looks like the standard AUG from the game.

Float Value of the item can vary between 0.06 and 0.80, allowing it to be obtainable in any exterior quality category. As the weapon’s quality deteriorates, the gun gradually darkens and loses the paint covering its surface. In the “Battle-Scarred” condition, the firearm looks darker, and paint is erased from most of its surface.

AUG | Contractor is categorized as the “Consumer Grade” rarity and is available in a souvenir version. This skin is not popular among CS2 players.
