AUG | Colony appeared in CS:GO on November 27, 2013. The skin is contained in The Mirage Collection that includes 15 weapon finishes themed after the same-named map. This collection was introduced to the shooter in the massive “Out with the old, in with the new” update with the other 6 weapon collections.

The assault rifle has a simple design: both grips, the buttstock, and the edge of the rifle's magazine are covered with sandy paint. The magazine itself is dark gray. The rest of the firearm looks like the vanilla AUG from the game.

Float Value of the item can vary between 0.06 and 0.80, allowing it to be obtainable in any exterior quality category. As the weapon’s condition deteriorates, the assault rifle wears down along the edges. At high float values, the gun's surface loses over half of its paint, significantly spoiling the rifle's appearance.

AUG | Colony is categorized as the “Consumer Grade” rarity and is obtainable in a souvenir variant. The skin is not popular among CS2 players.
