M4A4 | Modern Hunter appeared in CS:GO on August 14, 2013. It’s contained in The Militia Collection, introduced into the shooter in “The Arms Deal” update with the other nine themed weapon collections containing the first ever weapon finishes in CS:GO.

Most of the rifle's surface is covered with gray-beige paint, complemented with dull leaves and numerous tree branches of various thicknesses. The pistol grip is bright black, while the forend and shoulder stock are colored gray.

The pattern index determines how the picture elements are arranged on the surface.

Float Value of the item can vary between 0.06 and 0.80, allowing it to be obtainable in any exterior quality category. Even at the minimum possible float value, wear marks are visible on the gun's surface, most notably on the magazine. As the weapon wears, its paint gets significantly erased, and at high float values, the gun loses almost all its paint.

M4A4 | Modern Hunter is categorized as the “Restricted” rarity and is unavailable in either souvenir or StatTrak versions. The skin is not popular among CS2 players.
