AWP | Chromatic Aberration by kosear appeared in CS:GO on July 1, 2022. The skin is contained in the Recoil Case that was introduced to the shooter in the “A New Cassssssse” update.

Part of the scope and the receiver are covered with purple and black stripes (gray and black stripes are also noticeable on the barrel and shoulder stock). Most of the sniper rifle's surface is adorned with numerous crosses. Noteworthy are the CS2 pictograms depicted on the shoulder stock, representing various methods of eliminating opponents: no-scope, while flash banged, through smoke, headshot, and through the cover.

Float Value of AWP | Chromatic Aberration can vary between 0.00 and 0.70, allowing the skin to be obtainable in any exterior quality category. As the float value increases, the paint on the sniper rifle's surface gradually fades and gets erased. With heavy wear, the weapon loses more than half of its paint.

AWP | Chromatic Aberration belongs to the “Covert” rarity grade and is available with the StatTrak kill counter. The skin is popular among CS2 fans.
