Skin history
M4A1-S | Chantico's Fire appeared in CS:GO on April 27, 2016. The skin is contained in the Chroma 3 Case that was added to the shooter in the “Trichromacy” update. On February 16, 2018, the design of this skin was changed because the previous version violated copyright.
Pattern features
The design is made in the style of the Aztecs, the indigenous people of Mesoamerica, and refers to Chantico, the goddess of fire and family hearth. In this regard, the color scheme of the design is mainly composed of shades of yellow and red.
Effect of float
Float Value of M4A1-S | Chantico's Fire can vary between 0.00 and 0.99, allowing the skin to be obtainable in any exterior quality category. As the weapon’s quality deteriorates, it gradually fades and wears down. At high float values, the gun becomes significantly duller and loses some of its paint, disrupting the integrity of the pattern that covers its surface.
Rarity and popularity
M4A1-S | Chantico's Fire belongs to the “Covert” rarity grade and is available with the StatTrak kill counter. The skin is moderately popular among CS2 players.
