M4A4 | Converter appeared in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive on September 3, 2018. It belongs to The Inferno 2018 Collection that contains 18 thematic weapon finishes from the same-named map. The collection was introduced to the shooter in the “FACEIT 2018 – Ways to Watch” update in time for the start of the London Major.

Most of the assault rifle’s surface is covered with black paint and individual red spots (the pistol grip is entirely red). The receiver and the magazine are overlaid with a mesh of gray hexagonal cells.

The pattern index determines how the cells are arranged on the surface of the assault rifle.

Float Value of the item can vary between 0.00 and 0.40, allowing the skin to be obtainable in any exterior quality category, with the exception of “Battle-Scarred.” As the gun wears down, it fades and loses part of its paint. At high float values, all parts of the assault rifle noticeably wear out, and almost all paint gets erased from the magazine.

M4A4 | Converter is categorized as the “Mil-Spec Grade” rarity and is available in a souvenir version. This weapon finish is moderately popular among CS2 fans.
