AWP | Mortis by OniLolz, Zaphk, and 2Minds appeared in CS:GO on February 14, 2018. The skin is contained in the Clutch Case that was introduced to the shooter in the “Welcome to the Clutch” update.

The skin is designed in the style of the “Death” card from the Major Arcana of the Tarot deck. The word “mortis” itself is a genitive case form of the word “mors,” which means “death.” It is allegorically depicted on the shoulder stock as a humanoid figure in a shroud with a scythe (notably, the scythe's handle consists of bone vertebrae). On the receiver, a horse skeleton is outlined in gold contour.

Float Value of AWP | Mortis can vary between 0.00 and 0.64, allowing the skin to be obtainable in any exterior quality category. As the float value increases, the paint darkens and gets gradually erased from the surface of the gun, primarily from the barrel and the backside of the shoulder stock. With heavy wear, the shoulder stock and bipod also become exposed.

AWP | Mortis belongs to the “Classified” rarity grade and is available with the StatTrak kill counter. The skin is popular among CS2 players.
