Skin history
SG 553 | Ultraviolet appeared in CS:GO on August 14, 2013. It’s contained in the CS:GO Weapon Case that includes 9 firearm skins and a knife skin as a rare item. This case was introduced to the shooter in “The Arms Deal” update.
Pattern features
The rifle has a simple design: its muzzle, forend, scope, pistol grip, and buttstock are covered with purple paint, while the rest of the weapon is black.
Effect of float
Float Value of the item can vary between 0.06 and 0.80, allowing it to be obtainable in any exterior quality category. The paint gradually darkens and gets erased from the surface of the rifle as the weapon’s quality deteriorates. In the “Battle-Scarred” condition, the carbine loses about half of its paint.
