AUG | Syd Mead by Coridium and Syd Mead (named in his honor) appeared in CS:GO on August 18, 2016. The skin is contained in the Gamma 2 Case that was added to the shooter in the “Double Exposure” update.

The design follows the aesthetic of past years' sci-fi and resembles the interior of a spaceship. Unlike many other skins for AUG, this skin is applied to all parts of the weapon except for the optical sight.

Float Value of AUG | Syd Mead can vary between 0.00 and 0.80, allowing the skin to be obtainable in any exterior quality category. As the float value increases, the weapon noticeably darkens and loses its paint. In the “Battle-Scarred” condition, the rifle looks much more faded, and the paint is completely erased from the barrel, receiver, and the Picatinny rail.

AUG | Syd Mead belongs to the “Classified” rarity grade and is available with the StatTrak kill counter. The skin is popular among CS2 players.
