AWP | Phobos by Apel appeared in CS:GO on June 15, 2016. The skin belongs to the Gamma Case that was introduced to the shooter in the “Gamma Exposure” update.
The design is themed around a high-tech future. In such a design, the sniper rifle shoots energy beams instead of bullets, as indicated by the black and yellow diagonal stripes with a lightning bolt symbol, as well as a charge indicator in the middle of the receiver.
Float Value of AWP | Phobos can vary between 0.00 and 0.40, allowing the skin to be obtainable in all exterior quality categories except the last one. As the float value increases, the gun darkens and slightly loses its paint, most notably around the scope and rivets. In the “Field-Tested” condition, it loses less than a quarter of its paint.
AWP | Phobos belongs to the “Restricted” rarity grade and is available with the StatTrak kill counter. The skin is not popular among CS2 players.
