AUG | Sand Storm by Chemical Alia appeared in CS:GO on September 22, 2021. The skin belongs to The 2021 Mirage Collection that contains 17 themed skins from the same-named map. This collection was added to the shooter along with Operation Riptide.
Pattern features
The buttstock and pistol grip of the assault rifle depict a rocky desert where a sandstorm is raging. This picture smoothly transitions into a night sky on the receiver and barrel. The same sky is shown on the magazine.
Effect of float
Float Value of AUG | Sand Storm can vary between 0.00 and 0.50, allowing the skin to be obtainable in any exterior quality category. As the gun wears down, it gradually darkens. At high float values, minor abrasions are seen on the Picatinny rail, and the rifle as a whole becomes noticeably darker.
