You’re only as good as the skins you keep, they say. Professional players spend thousands of hours with their weapons, so we can say even more about their personality just by looking at their weapon finishes. Sometimes you can see a person’s individuality even in small details like a weapon’s name tag. CS.MONEY Blog looked through the best players’ inventories and found some prominent examples.
Galil AR | Eco “GaLil Pump”
This assault rifle belongs to the one and only s1mple. Oleksandr not only loves to win trophies but to play with words as well.
Lil Pump is a famous rapper, whose video Gucci Gang achieved more than one billion views on YouTube. He recently released a new music video, Splurgin. We hope s1mple liked it.
AK-47 | The Empress “Elizabeth II”
Even though MOUZ.frozen uses another AK-47 on a daily basis, we found this gem in his inventory. The combination of skin name and tag is hilarious. God save the Queen!
USP-S | Neo-Noir “Reading Hemingway”
forZe.KENSI surprises with a pretty intellectual name tag. Ernest Hemingway is an American writer who was awarded the 1954 Nobel Prize in Literature. Many of his works are considered classics of American literature and are definitely worth reading. Nice!
MP9 | Mount Fuji “ARARAT”
David “n0rb3r7” Danielyan is proud of his Armenian origin, and we found a peculiar example of that in his inventory. David took a weapon finish referencing one legendary volcano, Mount Fuji, and tagged it to honor another legendary volcano, Mount Ararat.
Fun fact: the highest point of Mount Ararat is higher than the highest point of Mount Fuji, but the Japanese volcano is higher in ranks by topographic prominence.
AK-47 | The Empress “NEEDFORSPEEDMW2005”
Dycha likes to be creative with name tags for his CS:GO skins, but we decided to choose the one where he pays tribute to the original Most Wanted game from one of the most successful video game franchises. Many people call it the best NFS part, so we understand why the Polish player decided to pay respects.

While dycha values racing, Jame decided to revere the franchise made by GSC Game World. We are wondering how eagerly is Virtus.pro’s IGL waiting for the sequel’s release?
M4A1-S | Blue Phosphor “Lunar Blessing” and AWP | Lightning Strike “Lucent Beam”
More on the gaming subject, we found a couple of fancy skins in sdy’s inventory. At first, it seems nothing extraordinary, but Lucent Beam and Lunar Blessing are named after a Dota 2 character, Luna, and her abilities. Viktor spent almost 4000 hours in the other Valve’s esports title, and there are more than a thousand Dota 2 game items in his inventory.
AWP | Redline “AWPeter” and AK-47 | Safari Mesh “T-REZ”
Here are a couple of intelligent wordplays. The “AWPeter” belongs to Peter “dupreeh” Rasmussen of Team Vitality, and “T-REZ” is REZ’s (NiP veteran) property.
M4A4 | Desolate Space “Black Hole”
Heroic’s Stavn seems to like the space theme, judging by his steam profile. If not for that fact, we would have probably walked past his M4A4, but to give a Desolate Space weapon finish the “Black Hole” name tag… It clicks.
Bonus. EliGE’s “StatTrak” series
EliGE seems to have the most original tastes out of all pro players. He placed a “StatTrak” name tag on every basic weapon finish in the game, including the C4! Of course, none of these weapons counts confirmed kills. You can see Team Liquid gold stickers on some of these guns from PGL Major Stockholm 2021, but that’s it.
