The past week hasn’t been particularly action-packed. Still, CS.MONEY tried to select the choicest tidbits and tell you about all the interesting news of the last seven days. Get ready — here we go.

Sixth player for MIBR

While the top teams are giving up their sixth players, MIBR figured that the ban of substitutions at RMR tournaments makes now the best time to add Rafael Lacerd to the active roster.

Although he became the sixth player, exit replaced Daniel “danoco” Morgado in the starting lineup. Danoco joined MIBR earlier this year, when the American organization signed four BOOM players. Daniel became the fifth player; interestingly, he hadn’t played anywhere before MIBR.

We’ll see soon enough whether they will employ danoco during matches and change some of the players in the course of the game. The next tournament for the updated MIBR is BLAST Premier Spring Showdown 2021.

Highlight of the week

The highlight of the week was definitely Martin “STYKO” Stick’s moment against FURIA. It’s an ESL Pro League Season 13 match, the score is 11-14, and Martin takes an incredible shot with the Desert Eagle. A literal 1-v.-4 scenario — even though Miikka “suNny” Kemppi was alive too. Then, FunPlus Phoenix came back into the game and won the first map 16-14. Although the European team were in the lead, they failed to win the BO3 series and lost 1-2, dropping out of the tournament.

Winstrike Disband

The team’s coach Dmitry “hooch” Bogdanov announced the team’s departure from the organization. All players along with Dmitry became free agents — however, they’re going to stick together under the ex-Winstrike tag.

The last change in the Winstrike lineup happened in the late fall of 2020. It was at that time that ex-Hard Legion players Vladislav “Krad” Kravchenko and Igor “Forester” Bezotetsky joined the team. With their roster renewed, the squad began to swiftly climb in the world rankings, eventually reaching the 22nd line.

Nevertheless, Winstrike’s systematic violations of contractual obligations led to the departure of the top team from the organization. The lineup is currently looking for an organization. Furthermore, if the info provided by Aleksey “OverDrive” Biryukov is correct, Alexey “El1an Gusev” is also going to leave the team’s active roster.

Nemiga reshuffles

The previous roster change in Nemiga took place in January 2020. Since then, the team has been rapidly climbing into the top 30 of HLTV, but then dropped out of there just as rapidly. Reshuffles were necessary — and they happened.

Anton “speed4k” Titov left the team to be replaced by the ex-Spirit player Artem “iDISBALANCE” Egorov. Notably, this is the first actual reshuffle in a CIS-based top team.

News time

Last week marked the sixth anniversary of the updated de_Train. On April 1, the whole of the Counter-Strike community celebrated this big anniversary.

Over these six years, the map has already undergone a couple of small changes, yet it has actually retained its original appearance. Besides the addition of Train into the competitive pool, the characteristics of the Tec-9 were also changed that day. The ultimate weapon that had been previously used to win matches was no longer ultimate.
