Uh, FaZe Clan. With the arrival of Kjaerbye, their game doesn’t look well at all. Yeah, it is possible that after some time, the game and results will stabilize, but will the organization and the team have enough patience? Also, success cannot be guaranteed.
Since that’s the case, let’s talk about who could strengthen FaZe.
Gabriel “FalleN” Toledo
Yes, you heard right! Yes, FalleN!! Given the latest rumors about the possibility of Fallen joining the Polish team HONORIS, the probability of such a move is small, but it still exists.
FalleN recently left Made in Brazil following the departure of his teammates, and is now on the lookout for new challenges and possibly searching for himself. Gabriel held on to MIBR until the last moment and tried for a very long time to make something that would work from the available resources.
But it didn’t work out, the chapters in the history of MIBR and Follen were closed.
Why not try something new? FaZe.FalleN. Looks good, huh?
And it might work. The chances of success may not be very high, but they are certainly not less than in the case of the Kjaerbye transfer.
FalleN is an experienced captain with a good sense of play and a wagon of experience. But more importantly, Gabriel is an authority in the world of Counter-Strike. And in the case of a team like FaZe, this is doubly important.
FalleN may not have enough speed to keep up with the current trends of the game, but this is solvable. yNk- was originally an analyst and has a very flexible mind. In the end, you can strengthen the coaching staff and focus on tactical variability.
It doesn’t sound like a bad option, right?
Peter “stanislaw” Jarguz
Another interesting option. And even less likely than the first one. Why? It’s simple: if FalleN is now without a team and open to new options, then everything is more difficult with Stanislaw.
He is in good shape, leading EG to new victories and successes (under the leadership of Peter, Evil Geniuses show a very decent game). In addition to this, buying out Stanislaw’s contract is definitely not a cheap pleasure, and the region lacks of ingame-leaders. Except it, Peter will have to move to Europe.
But if we discard all these “but” here, then Stanislaw is a good option for FaZe if we talk about the game. In fact, everything is the same as Fallen’s, but Stanislaw is much more flexible and adapts better to new conditions.
Advanced FalleN, so to speak. Stanislaw in FaZe would be very interesting to see!
Mathias “MSL” Lauridsen
The most obvious and the most (almost) promising option among the in-game leaders. MSL is super cool, super experienced, and super smart. What else is needed for success?
Oh yes, that’s just MSL… Invincible. And he wants the sniper to be played as it is needed for the Dane. MSL is an authority, but it is not a fact that he will be able to work with such a star team as FaZe.
But if you look at it from the other side, MSL will manage to adapt to the specifics of the team.
If he wants to. And if FaZe players want to work with him.
Whether both sides will agree to compromise is the main question.
Asger “AcilioN” Larsen
We return to the less obvious options but do not leave Denmark. The next candidate in line is AcilioN. A contradictory personality and a contradictory player. No doubt, Asger is a talented and smart guy.
This is sorted out, it fits.
There is one problem: authority. Will AcilioN be able to make a deal with the team, will make sure that the team follows his calls and course? And that at the same time the internal tension shouldn’t grow in FaZe, pretty tough conditions.
Maybe yes, maybe no. If it happens, FaZe will be fun to watch, but the risky might be too high.
Maikil “Golden” Kunda Selim
How about this?! Golden has experience playing in an international team. Maikil is a good rifler and a VERY flexible captain. In addition, fnatic are experiencing problems in the online era and the team may decide to go for a replacement.
There are no questions about authority, if Golden was able to become one in fnatic after his return.
Immediately, it is even difficult to name the possible disadvantages of such a transfer, to be honest.
With the arrival of Golden, the game of FaZe would have been radically transformed and at the same time creativity and aggression will not disappear – after all, Golden plays for fnatic, who love the spontaneous and non-typical game.
When you think about Golden in FaZe, all the other options (even the MSL option) don’t seem so cool.
But all this is just guesses, wishes and conjectures. Any of the above options is only possible if FaZe decide to set a course for a new captain. The fact that this has not happened for a long time makes us doubt the reality of such a scenario, but… this is Counter-Strike, anything could happen.
And the arrival of a new, strong ingame-leader to FaZe, it will definitely not weaken the team.
