Valve has announced the theme of upcoming Counter-Strike 2 skins in advance for the second time. Artists can submit works in two directions. The first one is arabesque style and Arabic mythology. The second one is spy tech. The CS.MONEY Blog checked the Workshop and found strong candidates for the Spy Tech collection.

The Spy Tech Collection
Spy Tech is a special tag in the Workshop. All skins submitted to it will be reviewed by Valve in the future, and some of them may be added to the game. We do not know when this will happen, but we know for sure that the Spy Tech collection could be full of bangers. Talented skin makers have already managed to create new works or adapt old ones for this event. Below you can check out examples of skins that might appear in CS2.
FIVE-SEVEN ECHO PROTOCOL
Artist: Hybra
Echo Protocol is a great example of a skin that uses very few colors but still doesn’t look boring. The pistol is almost completely black, with green accents and a subtle dark gradient. This skin would look perfect in the hands of Sam Fisher, probably the most famous stealth agent in video games.
CZ75 CIRCUIT V1
Artist: Jamukh
The company Česká zbrojovka Uherský Brod was making spy pistols half a century ago. Back then, it was the Šcorpion vz. 61. CZ75 Circuit v1 feels like a worthy successor, as the skin looks extremely high-tech and dangerous. Pure spy tech in action.
MAC-10 FEATHERWEIGHT

Being compact and light is important for tools in an agent’s arsenal. That’s why the MAC-10 FEATHERWEIGHT skin fits perfectly as a spy weapon, just in case things go wrong. By the way, the artist uploaded several inner color options to the Workshop. We liked the white and blue version the most, so that’s the one we picked.
RECORDER P90 (YELLOW)

Although movies like Mission Impossible or The Man from U.N.C.L.E. shape the image of a spy as an action hero, in reality, they mostly gather secret information. The RECORDER P90 skin highlights this side of the job because there is no better chance to overhear a conversation than to secretly record it on tape. That is what a real spy would do!
MAC-10 VIDEOCAM

Besides audio recordings, spies often use hidden video devices. Different gadgets are made for this purpose. James Bond once hid a camera inside a lighter. Meanwhile, kr1zer and JKKKDL suggest hiding a camera… inside a MAC-10. A very creative idea, no doubt about it.
DUAL BERETTAS UNDERCOVER

Another side of a spy’s career is working undercover. Sometimes this means joining a big company, sometimes infiltrating foreign special forces, and sometimes becoming part of organized crime. Surprisingly, the hero of DUAL BERETTAS UNDERCOVER looks natural in all three roles.
USP-S BLACK BOX (CLEAN)

What is the color of stealth? Of course, black. But fully black skins often look a bit boring, with the AK-47 Slate being a rare exception. That’s why the creator of USP-S BLACK BOX (CLEAN) added an orange stripe for contrast and several white markings. Small details, but they instantly make the USP-S feel like part of a super agent’s loadout.
TEC-9 NOXIOUS V2

Spies do not often use bullets to eliminate targets. Poison is used much more often. The TEC-9 NOXIOUS V2 skin replaces the cylindrical upper part of the pistol with a toxin tank. Because of this, it looks like a large syringe with some very dangerous liquid from a laboratory. This style is emphasized by the deliberately white color of the rest of the pistol body.
AWP HIGH SPEED

Poisons, silenced pistols, and knives usually require close contact. But why take that risk if a real spy can avoid it by using a sniper rifle? The AWP HIGH SPEED skin looks very futuristic — strict geometry, composite material inserts, and strong contrast colors. A true weapon from the 22nd century inside the Spy Tech collection.
USP-S PRIME ELIMINATION

We finish the list with a skin that would be a worthy reward for an operative heading into retirement. USP-S PRIME ELIMINATION is covered with engravings and made in silver and gold colors. A luxury weapon to remember the good old days.
The Spy Tech collection has not been added to CS2 yet, and it’s impossible to say when that will happen.
